We&#8217;ve gotten a tremendous amount of work done since our last post and we&#8217;re very pleased with how much better Fictorum is performing. We were gamers before we became game developers, and we know firsthand how it can be infuriating to players and detrimental to game flow when it consistently takes that long to set up a new level.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"gfyitem\" data-title=\"false\" data-autoplay=\"true\" data-controls=\"false\" data-expand=\"false\" data-id=\"JampackedKnobbyBug\"><\/h2>\n<p>Greg implemented a different process of loading levels within the Unreal Engine 4 (<a href=\"https:\/\/docs.unrealengine.com\/latest\/INT\/Engine\/LevelStreaming\/\" target=\"_blank\">level streaming<\/a>), which <strong>reduced our 30+ second load time\u00a0to\u00a02-5 seconds(!!!)<\/strong>.
