We&#8217;ll be showing you our improvements to our world map and game-pad support, as well as the voice of our main character. Most importantly, we&#8217;ve created a gameplay video showing one of our latest builds that we&#8217;d love to share with you.<!--more--><br \/>\n<script>\/\/ <![CDATA[\n(function(i,s,o,g,r,a,m){i['GoogleAnalyticsObject']=r;i[r]=i[r]||function(){ (i[r].q=i[r].q||[]).push(arguments)},i[r].l=1*new Date();a=s.createElement(o), m=s.getElementsByTagName(o)[0];a.async=1;a.src=g;m.parentNode.insertBefore(a,m) })(window,document,'script','\/\/www.google-analytics.com\/analytics.js','ga'); ga('create', 'UA-70843120-1', 'auto'); ga('send', 'pageview');\n\/\/ ]]><\/script><br \/>\n<script src=\"https:\/\/assets.gfycat.com\/gfycat.js\"><\/script><\/p>\n<h2>Gameplay Video<\/h2>\n<p>We&#8217;ve still got a long way to go until release, but it&#8217;s nice to see parts of our game coming together.\u00a0Since recording this video, Greg has made a bunch of improvements to the AI and\u00a0Chip and Greg have done a lot of tweaking to the game&#8217;s difficulty and feel. \u00a0We will be doing future gameplay sessions, \u00a0so that you can keep track of how the game is progressing.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/YgwmBkCZi1Y\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<h2>In-Game Menu and Full Game-pad Support<\/h2>\n<p>We implemented\u00a0some necessary features into our game with a little help from the Unreal Marketplace and Unreal Engine. \u00a0We now have\u00a0an in-game menu and full game-pad support for\u00a0Fictorum. It&#8217;s an important part of our game and we wanted to make sure that it looked as good as the rest of it. Here&#8217;s how it looked before:<\/p>\n<div class=\"gfyitem\" data-title=\"false\" data-autoplay=\"true\" data-controls=\"false\" data-expand=\"false\" data-id=\"RemorsefulLonelyAmericangoldfinch\"><\/div>\n<p>This week, Chip made a bunch of improvements to the lighting, particle effects, and the actors within the map to\u00a0give it a more eerie mood and a new coat\u00a0of polish:<\/p>\n<div class=\"gfyitem\" data-title=\"false\" data-autoplay=\"true\" data-controls=\"false\" data-expand=\"false\" data-id=\"WiltedGrippingAbyssiniangroundhornbill\"><\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Voice-overs<\/h2>\n<p>Chip took a night away from UE4 to get some basic voiceovers done for our game. They&#8217;ll be redone before the final release, but they work well for now.
