Ability scrolls can now be found from enemies, events, vendors, and from lootable items (like bookshelves and nightstands).<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/fictorum.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/ScrollsPng-1.png\" target=\"_blank\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-1141\" src=\"https:\/\/fictorum.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/ScrollsPng-1-757x1024.png\" alt=\"Scrolls\" width=\"500\" height=\"676\" srcset=\"https:\/\/fictorum.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/ScrollsPng-1-757x1024.png 757w, https:\/\/fictorum.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/ScrollsPng-1-222x300.png 222w, https:\/\/fictorum.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/ScrollsPng-1-600x812.png 600w, https:\/\/fictorum.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/ScrollsPng-1.png 765w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Additionally, we have three brand new abilities to show off:<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Slow Time<\/span><\/p>\n<p>An incredibly powerful ability\u2014This will slow the passage of time to one tenth of its speed, but the Fictorum can move normally.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"gfyitem\" data-title=\"false\" data-autoplay=\"true\" data-controls=\"false\" data-expand=\"false\" data-id=\"EnchantedEnviousIguanodon\"><\/h2>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Decoy<\/span><\/p>\n<p>A devastating spell that creates a duplicate of the Fictorum and lures nearby enemies towards it. After a short time, the decoy detonates.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"gfyitem\" data-title=\"false\" data-autoplay=\"true\" data-controls=\"false\" data-expand=\"false\" data-id=\"FavorableScalyFugu\"><\/h2>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Stop Projectiles<\/span><\/p>\n<p>This ability will quickly freeze incoming projectiles in time within a large cone in front of the caster.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"gfyitem\" data-title=\"false\" data-autoplay=\"true\" data-controls=\"false\" data-expand=\"false\" data-id=\"FrightenedUniformBonobo\"><\/h2>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Bugs Fixes and Minor Enhancements<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>(Most) Abilities will now receive benefits from enchanting.<\/li>\n<li>Ranged enemies will now properly rotate towards the player before attacking<\/li>\n<li>Meteor and area spells now have a drastically increased impacts<\/li>\n<li>Blink has improved sound and visual effects<\/li>\n<li>The miasma below the mountains on the world map has more visual movement<\/li>\n<li>Gamepad icons now appear over spell buttons<\/li>\n<li>Many backer names have been added to the character name randomizer<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Coming weeks<\/h2>\n<p>We have created several new houses with Leif\u2019s new house kit\u2014Over the next two weeks, we\u2019ll be filling them up with props and start replacing our old houses with these great new ones!<\/p>\n<p>We&#8217;ll be hosting our next <a href=\"https:\/\/www.twitch.tv\/scrapingbottomgames\">Twitch stream<\/a> on 2\/7\u00a0at 8pm PT\u2014We hope to see you there!<\/p>\n<p>Talk to you next time!
