Happy Thanksgiving, fellow magicians! With the holiday weekend, two members of our team were traveling, and the last managing to pick up food poisoning.  We couldn’t meet all of the goals we had set for ourselves in our last update, but don’t take that to mean that we made no progress at all; We’re thrilled with what we’ve gotten done!

Another week has passed; a lot of work has been done. We’ve spent a lot of time improving the look and the performance of Fictorum, as well as adding a few new fun features that we think you’ll love.

Alright, we’ll stick to updating this more consistently from now on.

We’re really getting excited about our game—not that we haven’t been already, but it has been really satisfying to see things come together.  I’ll be looking to put together a video/gif soon showing off some of our other spells and destructibles.

We had a huge surprise yesterday. Greg submitted a post with a gif to the Game Physics subreddit yesterday of him playing Fictorum and blowing up a town. What he got in return was an overwhelmingly positive response to our game! We are incredibly grateful for the combination of thousands of upvotes and the comments expressing excitement and interest in our work. Many of those comments were relating to our destructible environment – I want to make sure that we don’t disappoint on that. We’ll be hard at work over the coming months to get our game to an alpha state so that we can share even more with you via gameplay videos. Also, we’ll be putting together an email list in the next few days so that we can keep you posted with our most recent updates.

We can’t wait to get back to work!
